The Wedding Shoes - Tips For Preparing For the Big Day

Wedding shoes should not be an issue as much as women seem to have little problem with buying shoes for the most part any other time. With that being said, the shoe selection should not become the albatross around your neck by any means. It is amazing how the most shoe-savvy woman suddenly becomes paralyzed when it comes to picking the shoes for the wedding dress.
With that being said, there are some major considerations here to be considered, none the least is the overall fit. I have seen many a bride obsess with a style over the fit not realizing that most people never see your shoes, nor do they care. Always think of could you be in the shoes for an extended period of time with out causing bleeding. Funny, yes, has it happened? Yes, it most certainly has.
Style, we touched on, but again, you have to be aware that most dresses will completely cover the shoe. It is doubtful that you will not be able to find something you like. Relax here and don't get caught up in "Wedding Mania" as I call it, where you lose your mind about some incredible style. Again keep in mind many will never see your shoes.
Comfort is the biggie from my standpoint as a wedding planner. You must be able to move around in the shoes with ease. Comfort trumps style every single time. I have even seen many a bride have her wedding shoes and then buy comfortable ones for the reception. I find that a waste as usually it can be very cost prohibitive. Find some shoes that you could wear any day and be happy to spend an extended period of time in them. You will thank me for this tip alone.
There are many other factors that go into the overall shoe choice, but keep in mind these three areas and you will be fine. Just keep your head about you when it comes to your feet.
